The Slot Booking app allows streamlining dock door schedules booked by carriers, suppliers or consignees to optimize the daily planning of the arrivals based on given openings and dock capabilities.

The intuitive User Interface allows each of the three parties to easily generate and book a slot for a specific delivery showing all operating constraints for the selected drop-off location. All operating constraints per site are maintained by the receiving party which can define the opening hours per dock, unloading time of handling units, capability of handling dangerous goods or other special requirements. The self-service portal enables all teams to work in one calendar, thus enhancing the transparency and predictability of daily arrivals.

One of the apps offered by Quyntess is the Shipment Collaboration app where suppliers can announce their shipments including all line item details. Each supplier or carrier can also select to integrate their shipments into the Slot Booking app. All required data will then be inherited by the Slot Booking app so that the user simply needs to select the best-fitting slot. 

With the help of awareness flags and notifications, unscheduled appointments will not be forgotten to therefore ensure a transparent communication flow. Next to the smart awareness filtering, each consignee user can rate the On-Time-Delivery performance of each booked slot. This will help to rate the supplier's and carriers' KPI performances based on early, delayed or no-show deliveries.
